Support your library
While libraries are essential centers for learning, innovation and opportunity, they constantly struggle for adequate funding. Be an Advocate by contacting your elected officials to tell them how important public libraries are to you.
For local officials:
WLS Advocacy Network provides a way to contact your local elected officials about topics related to a specific library or County-wide initiatives.
For state officials:
New York Library Association's Online Advocacy Center provides information on the latest library issues that need to be addressed and a way to contact your state officials online.
