New York Library Association (NYLA)
The New York Library Association (NYLA) was founded in 1890 to lead in the development, promotion and improvement of library and information services and the profession of librarianship in order to enhance learning, quality of life, and equal opportunity for all New Yorkers.

Westchester Library Association (WLA)
The Westchester Library Association is a professional organization dedicated to advancing the interests of librarians, library support staff, trustees, and friends, and to increasing public awareness of libraries and library services in Westchester County, New York.

Prepare, publish and distribute nonpartisan information on registration, voting, candidates, ballot issues and elections.

Smart Voter
County residents now have an interactive source for non-partisan voting information, thanks to the efforts of the League of Women Voters® of Westchester.

Project Vote Smart
Project Vote Smart, a citizen's organization, has developed a Voter's Self-Defense System to provide you with the necessary tools to self-govern effectively: abundant, accurate, unbiased and relevant information. Project Vote Smart covers your candidates and elected officials in five basic categories: biographical information, issue positions, voting records, campaign finances and interest group ratings.

Project Sunlight
Project Sunlight, an effort by Attorney General Andrew Cuomo's office to promote your right to know and to monitor governmental decision-making, is the first of its kind in New York. It allows for easy access to statewide government information related to campaign finance, legislation, lobbying activity, and recipients of state government contracts. The goal of the website is to promote disclosure as well as to increase government's transparency and accountability.
