We begin a new series of weekday matinee films in the community room. See new releases and old classics on Thursday afternoons. On December 18 "Mama Mia" (PG-13) starring Meryl Streep is playing.

An Imperfect God: George Washington, His Slaves and the Creation of America by Henry Wiencek. The New York Council for the Humanities has awarded the Keeler Library a grant as part of their Reading Between the Lines program. John Steele Gordon, North Salem resident, and historian will lead the four part discussion series. Gordon has a distinguished writing career.
