Public Library Construction Bill signed into Law

Governor Cuomo has signed the Library Construction Bill (S.4101/A.113) that allows for public library construction funds to be used to buy vacant land/buildings and lowers the matching funds to 25% for libraries in economically distressed areas. The law goes into effect next April and will apply to next year's grant cycle.
